In a hastily-rewritten show, Larry Dean’s ‘Bampot’ was meant to be about a flourishing long-distance relationship with his Australian boyfriend. But after it ended before the Fringe, Dean was forced to switch focus to his childhood, family and sex life. ‘Bampot’ was a poignant and frequently funny show, mixing ruder stories about sexual encounters with heartwarming reminiscences. Proper feelgood stand-up.
