Will Adamsdale
Another spectacular Fringe debut scooped the award, this time for the fresh-faced Will Adamsdale with his abstract take on the life of an American motivational speaker. Vociferous praise was poured on Adamsdale by the comedy community although many of his later projects were equally acclaimed theatrical ventures. His on screen work includes Richard Curtis' The Boat That Rocked and Chris Morris' Four Lions.
