The quirky Scot and his ethereal brand of comedy was something of a Nineties phenomenon but is still a regular in Edinburgh and not forgotten by anyone who sees him. Kay had his own Channel 4 series in 1997, and had further collaborations with the channel afterwards. Recent TV appearances include QI and Russell Howard's Good News (BBC3) meanwhile his writing credits include The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer and Sean's Show.
