Performing a self-penned satirical feminist play might seem a rather niche beginning but Llewellyn was spotted by comedy TV Svengali Paul Jackson and was, soon after, immortalised as the mechanoid character of Kryten in the stellar TV sitcom hit Red Dwarf. Llewellyn has also enjoyed household name status as the presenter of Channel 4's Scrapheap Challenge and has written over a dozen books.
