Recruitment

Associate Producer

Dave's Edinburgh Comedy Awards are seeking an Associate Producer to join their team for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022.

Dave's Edinburgh Comedy Awards is the largest and most prestigious live comedy award in the UK. There were over 650 eligible shows for the awards in 2019 and after a two-year hiatus we can’t wait to get back to Edinburgh and back to live comedy.

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic comedy fan to join our team. The role is demanding but exciting and varied as you will be involved in every aspect of the awards from behind the scenes to the high-profile events held throughout the festival. The role is primarily office based but you are the key point of contact for the Awards with our Panel, Scouts, Industry and Sponsor so is a very forward-facing position.

We require you to be totally committed, have an excellent eye for detail, be supremely organised, dedicated and unfailingly enthusiastic. We promise a lot of fun in return. Previous members of our team have gone onto be leading comedy promoters, producers, and agents so for anyone looking for a way in, you won’t find anything better. We offer an inside track in the comedy world, producing and the Edinburgh Festival that is unrivalled.

We are a small, dedicated team whom between us have been running the awards throughout their lifetime. This is a demanding role at a relentless Festival but for the right person but can be wholly rewarding.
