The audience in Lucy Pearman’s debut hour played a key role in her vegetable-based nonsense. The show had a ludicrous premise: Pearman – half of sketch duo LetLuce – played an Edwardian maid in search of the perfect cabbage, but her ‘bad side’ kept ruining her plans. Cue physical set-pieces, interactive cabbage-growing competitions and an innovative, unexpected costume change.
