Letting his comedy songs and musical comedy riffs do the talking proved a wise move for Basden, a member of the sketch group Cowards. As well as TV work with Cowards, Basden has appeared in Brave Young Men (BBC 3), No Heroics on (ITV2) After You've Gone (BBC1), Jam & Jerusalem (BBC1), Hyperdrive (BBC2) and Star Stories (series 1 & 2) on Channel 4.
