Already nominated for a newcomer award in 2004 for his outstanding debut show Gilbert found another rich seam of form for this tour-de-force, the momentum of which propelled him towards a national tour and a best-selling DVD. His TV appearances have included chairing Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and appearing on The Royal Variety Performance and two stints on Live At The Apollo.
