Having only turned twenty in this year the Edinburgh Fringe turned out to be the best possible celebration for the American who was feted all over the place for his bewitching mix of stand up, poetry and music. Burnham had come to prominence as a youtube sensation but quickly showed that he had something to offer as a live performer. He was snapped up by Judd Apatow for a part in Funny People and is working with the director on another profile project as well as making a sitcom for MTV and having a one-hour special filmed by Comedy Central with whom he previously secured a four-record deal.
