If ever there was an example of someone choosing their own level of fame it is Daniel Kitson. Success and adoration has not swayed him from his main aim which is to keep his audiences dedicated and modest in size. No stadium tours, sitcoms or DVDs beckon for Daniel but out of choice. One of his few brushes with TV was in Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights that started before he won the Perrier and add to the feeling that his career has deliberately gone in reverse.
