There was little chance of Olga Koch’s stories about her family and childhood being similar to other comedians’. The 25-year-old Russian born stand-up’s debut solo offering, ‘Fight’, told the true tale of how her father was stopped at the country’s border, and then went missing. And that’s only the tip of the narrative-iceberg. Koch sold her utterly fascinating stories with a confident, excitable delivery and sharp jokes. Let’s just hope that no KGB were in attendance.
